Phelan Fellowship 2004-05 and other openings at the ILO, Geneva, Switzerland

Phelan Fellowship

The Phelan Fellowship is a 6-month grant awarded to an outstanding researcher preferably from developing countries doing advanced doctoral studies on labour and social policies relevant to the current research programme of the Institute. Every year the fellowship rotates among candidates from ILO regions that encompass developing countries: Africa, Asia, the Americas and Europe. The award for the year 2004 will be for a candidate from the Asian Region.

Visiting Scholar Programme
This programme, designed for professors on sabbatical leave, enables them to work on a theme relevant to the research agenda of the Institute.

Visiting Students Programme
The Institute accepts students for a minimum period of two to three months to work on a subject relevant to the research programme of the Institute, under the supervision of one of our senior research officers. Internships are not remunerated.
