Marxism, Crisis Theory and the Crisis of the Early 21st Century William K. Tabb

The author tries to interpret the recent global financial crisis in the Marxist paradigm. Given that much of Karl Marx’s original concept remains unwritten as he could not complete all the volumes of Das Kapital in his lifetime, many scholars have tried to make their own interpretations. The author here tries to interpret this crisis in terms of how Marx defined ‘capitalism’, and also how he defined ‘crisis’.
