An international seminar on ''Whither Global Capitalism?'' will be held on 28-29 January 2012 at the Convention Centre, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. The proposed seminar, being organised by the International Development Economics Associates (IDEAs), will have the following broad themes:

• The dominance of finance
      
• Dynamism in the periphery
      
• Economic integration and its impact
      
• Food and agrarian crises
